After the qualification of the Mexican Grand Prix, filming of scenes for the movie "F1", starring Brad Pitt, will take place. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to be part of this film production, allowing Formula 1 fans to experience an additional facet to the sporting event.

The film "F1", which has captured scenes at various races like the 2024 British GP, focuses on the story of Sonny Hayes, played by Pitt, a retired driver who returns to compete with the fictional team APXGP. In the movie, Hayes will mentor Joshua Pierce, portrayed by Damson Idris, in a fictional championship where they compete against real Formula 1 teams.

The filming of these scenes at the 2024 Mexican Grand Prix will be a unique opportunity for fans and attendees to participate in the production and possibly appear in minor cameo roles in the film.

Filming will take place after the event's qualifying, at which point the starting grid positions for Sunday’s race will be defined. Federico González Compeán, director of the Mexico City Grand Prix, had previously anticipated Brad Pitt's visit for the filming of some scenes of "F1".

Directed by Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the film will feature real drivers such as Sergio Pérez, who will make cameos in the storyline. The collaboration with teams like Mercedes for the design of modified F2 vehicles will add a realistic element to the production, which promises to be a unique experience for Formula 1 fans and cinema lovers.
